I’ve been using the KINGKI chest-mounted phone holder for product reviews, and it has worked well for me so far. The main reason I prefer it to chest mounts I’ve used before is the mechanical screw adjustment. My previous holders were spring-loaded, which made the phone harder to insert and remove and didn’t feel as secure.
The KINGKI holder uses a screw-operated clamp instead. I can open the clamp wide, position my phone, and tighten it in place without fighting spring tension. I use a regular-size iPhone, but the clamp opens far enough that I would expect it to accommodate a larger phone. The seller lists a maximum clamping distance of 105 mm and claims compatibility with 99 percent of smartphones. I did not measure the clamp or test that full compatibility claim.
Changing the phone’s orientation is also straightforward. Loosening the adjustment lets me rotate the holder between horizontal and vertical positions, then tighten it again. The listing describes the clip as offering 360-degree adjustment. I mainly care that I can choose landscape or portrait orientation depending on the video I’m recording.
The elastic harness has a broad adjustment range in my experience. I’m 6 feet 4 inches tall and weigh more than 200 pounds, and it fits me. It can also be adjusted down to fit my much smaller wife. The seller identifies the strap material as nylon elastic webbing and says it uses a five-segment adjustment system.
My main complaint is the buckle arrangement. There is one buckle rather than a buckle on each side. That means I have to put one arm through the harness and pull it over my head instead of placing it against my chest and fastening both sides. A second buckle would make it easier to put on, especially for someone my size. It isn’t a deal breaker, but it is the clearest improvement I would make.
The parts I adjust are secured with mechanical screws rather than springs. Once I have the mount positioned and tightened, it feels more dependable than the flimsier spring-loaded holders I’ve used before. For my product-review setup, the KINGKI chest mount has been a practical way to hold my phone in either orientation while keeping my hands available.
