Kitsure Dish Drying Rack review after about six review video preview

I’ve been using this Kitsure dish drying rack for about six months, and it has worked well in our kitchen. Its best feature is the drainage system. The drainboard directs water toward a drain near the middle, and the outlet rotates so I can point it toward the sink.

We’ve owned similar racks with a small drain opening in one corner. In our experience, those designs did not drain the entire tray very well. We positioned this rack’s outlet at the edge of our sink, so the dishwater flows into the sink instead of collecting in the bottom tray and evaporating. That setup has worked very well for us.

The removable parts also make the rack easier to clean. The wire rack and small side section lift off, so I can wash them separately and reach the drainboard underneath. The seller describes the side section as a detachable cutlery holder with two compartments.

According to the listing, the bottom measures 12 inches wide by 15.5 inches long, and the overall height is 5 inches. The seller describes it as a compact rack for kitchens with limited counter space and says it can hold 10 plates along with bowls and glasses. I did not independently measure the rack or test that capacity, so these are seller specifications rather than my own results.

The listing says the set includes the dish rack, drainboard, and cutlery holder, and that assembly requires no tools. It also says the water pipe can be removed for cleaning. Before buying, check the height of your sink edge. The seller warns that water may not drain smoothly if the sink edge is higher than the countertop.

After about six months, my experience with the rack has been positive. The removable construction makes cleaning easier, and the rotating outlet lets us direct the water into the sink. Its drainage design is the main reason it works better for our setup than the similar racks we used before.
